Client and caregiver laughing

Compassionate Nursing Services has helped clients age gracefully in the comfort and familiarity of their own home for over 10 years. As a full service in-home care provider, we offer both personal care and clinical nursing services to ensure our clients have the physical and emotional support and services they need.

Our History

After serving 13 years in the home care and home health industry, founder Matt Skaggs identified a need. “I just felt like something was missing.  Big companies were providing senior care but they were lacking what most seniors and their families want … compassion and a personal touch.”   So, when the opportunity presented itself, Matt started Compassionate Nursing Services with a focus on compassion for the clients we serve.

Compassion is part of our name

Compassion is who we are and what we strive for.  Asking for help is hard, and when you are entrusted to provide care for someone, it should be all about them.  We build trust by incorporating the individual’s needs with their likes and dislikes to provide a meaningful care experience.  Extra attention is put on matching the client and caregiver personalities with the needed skill set.
